Almøst Human is a metal band from French-speaking Switzerland.
Born a first time in the 90s under the impulse of Olivier Perdrizat (guitar) and Rosario Fullone (drums), Almøst Human quietly extinguished a few years later before experiencing a spectacular
resurrection in 2008 when Jan Peyer (bass), Chris Matthey (guitar) and Ben Plüss (vocal) join the band.
The band’s music oscillates between introspection and crisis of rage, hardness and appeasement.
Combining extreme metal technicity with the energy of rock, Almøst Human always keeps in focus melody and emotion, in the broadest sense of the term.
Entirely self-produced and mixed by Chris Matthey at the Royal Studios of Lausanne, the band’s first EP is a musical slap that can not leave indifferent any fans of modern and inventive metal.
In the fall of 2012, the band performs in Nepal during the Silence Festival, benefiting from the
experience of established acts such as Textures or Freak Kitchen.
At the end of 2014, the band collaborates with the 120 Second comedians, Vincent Kucholl and Vincent Veillon, composing, recording and mixing the music of the most Valaisan metal bands of all times: “Black Lion Genocide”. The band also accompanies the two Vincents on the main stage of the Paléo Festival in 2015.
With a first album being mixed and finalized, the members of Almøst Human only dream of one thing: defend their music on stage!
